A few years back Florida had uncapped poker for about 5 days. The games of those few days were legendary. Rumors were that they ran out of chips because people were buying in so deep. Hopefully the legend will turn to fact when Governor Charlie Chirst gets his way this summer.
The Florida legislatire finally passed the bill in May to allow for uncapped poker and table games. The state will receive $150 million each year from the Seminole tribe in exchange for the expanded offerings. This very well could casue a mjor boom in Florida gaming. Overall many states are changing their gambling laws to make up for shortfalls in state budgets.
